Much of the time, unsuccessful uses of a coupon means the person waited until it was out-of-date. Retail-Me-Not is usually pretty good about taking down expired deals, but they can sometimes linger for weeks. A person comes along, prints off a printable coupon, takes it into a store and finds out it's expired, then gives negative feedback. So if you see a high failure rate, look closely to see if there are reasons for the bad reviews.
